OUR STORY
The Muscle Helpers was founded by Chad Owen in 2018, starting as a side hustle in Arizona with just a single team member and a simple idea: to help people move without the massive price tag. Advertising through U-Haul and working just four days a week, Chad saw firsthand how many folks wanted a hand with moving, but didn’t need (or want to pay for) the full-service moving company experience.
In 2022, Chad brought The Muscle Helpers to PA, and everything changed. Pittsburgh’s unique landscape of endless stairs, tight spaces, and historic neighborhoods meant that demand for affordable, flexible labor-only moving help skyrocketed.
With a focus on personable, honest service, the company grew to multiple crews that have collectively moved thousands of Pittsburgh households in just a few years!
